وأضاف البيان أن أغلب المداخلات توقفت خلال المناقشة عند استقالة الأمين العام، موضحا أنه “فيما اختلفت التقديرات، والمواقف بشأنها سواء على المستوى، القانوني، أو التنظيمي، أو السياسي، أو في سياقها الوطني، أو في توقيتها، تناول الكلمة مجددا إلياس العماري ليؤكد على أن المداخلات تؤكد بأن الحزب سيكون له مستقبل واعد في المشهد السياسي بالنظر لتنوع مكوناته وحساسيات”.
وأضاف البلاغ أنه بعد نقاش مستفيض “أجمع أعضاء المكتب السياسي على رفضهم للقرار الفردي للسيد الأمين العام”، غير أنه أمام تشبثه بقرار الاستقالة، قرر المكتب السياسي عرض هذه الاستقالة على أنظار المجلس الوطني للحزب.
