واعتبر حزب الله في بيان نشر على موقعه الرسمي، أنه ينفي قطعا تسليحه للبوليساريو ردا على اتهامات المملكة المغربية، التي أعلنت زوال اليوم قطع علاقاتها الدبلوماسية مع إيران متهمة حزب الله التابع للجمهورية الإسلامية بتسليح وتدريب عناصر من البوليساريو انتقاما من اعتقال السلطات المغربية لمسؤول كبير من حزب الله.
وتابع « كان حريا بالخارجية المغربية أن تبحث عن حجة أكثر إقناعا لقطع علاقاتها مع إيران، التي وقفت وتقف إلى جانب القضية الفلسطينية وتساندها بكل قوة، بدل اختراع هذه الحجج الواهية ».
