أعلنت وزارة الصحة، الأحد 18 يوليوز 2021، عن تسجيل 2144 إصابة جديدة بفيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19)، و848 حالة شفاء، و16 وفيات خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية.
وأوضحت الوزارة، في النشرة اليومية لنتائج الرصد الوبائي لكوفيد-19، أن الحصيلة الجديدة رفعت العدد الإجمالي لحالات الإصابة المؤكدة بالمملكة إلى 557.632 حالة منذ الإعلان عن أول حالة في 2 مارس الماضي، ومجموع حالات الشفاء التام إلى 531.649 حالة، فيما ارتفع عدد الوفيات إلى 9450 حالة.
وفي نفس الصدد، أضاف المصدر ذاته أن عدد المستفيدين من الجرعة الأولى من اللقاح بلغ 11.219.675 شخصا، بينما بلغ عدد المستفيدين من الجرعة الثانية حتى الآن 9.620.665 شخصا.
