حذّرت مديرة صندوق النقد الدولي، كريستين لاغارد، من أن الدين العام إلى الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في دول العالم ارتفع لمستويات غير مسبوقة خلال العقود الماضية.
وقالت لاغارد أمام « مؤتمر الديون السيادية »، أمس الخميس: إن « الدين العام في الاقتصادات المتقدّمة وصل إلى مستويات لم نشهدها منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية، كما أن الدين العام في الأسواق الناشئة وصل إلى مستويات لم نشهدها منذ أزمة الديون في الثمانينات ».
وذكرت أن متوسط مستويات الديون في البلدان ذات الدخل المنخفض ارتفعت من 33% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في عام 2013 إلى 47% حالياً.
