يُنتظر أن يعود المغرب للعمل بالتوقيت الرسمي، يوم الأحد الأخير من شهر أكتوبر المقبل، وذلك بحذف 60 دقيقة من التوقيت الحالي.
وكانت وزارة إصلاح الإدارة والوظيفة العمومية، قد أضافت 60 دقيقة للتوقيت العادي، مباشرة بعد انتهاء شهر رمضان.
ويأتي تغيير الساعة القانونية للمملكة تطبيقا لمقتضى المرسوم رقم 2.13.781 الصادر في 21 من ذي القعدة 1434// 28 شتنبر 2013، بتغيير الساعة القانونية، وبناء على قرار رئيس الحكومة رقم 3.29.16 الصادر في 6 رجب 1437 الموافق لـ14 أبريل 2016، بتغيير الساعة القانونية.
وأثار التوقيت الصيفي للمملكة الكثير من الجدل خلال العام الجاري، خاصة في الوسط التعليمي، حيث وقعت عدت هيئات نقابية وتعليمية ومدنية وسياسية، عرائض للمطالبة بإلغاء الساعة الإضافية بسبب “آثارها البيولوجية وانعاكسها على جودة التعليم والعمل”.
