مصممو حمالات صدر ملكة بريطانيا يفقدون الامتياز الملكي

فقدت الشركة التي كانت تزود ملكة بريطانيا بالملابس الداخلية امتيازا ملكيا بعدما صدر كتاب يكشف تفاصيل عن مقاسات حمالات صدر ملكية.

وظلت شركة « ريغبى آند بيلر » للملابس الداخلية الفاخرة، التي تأسست فى لندن، تتمتع بالامتياز الملكي منذ عام 1960.

وجرى سحب الامتياز بعدما أصدرت جون كنتون، التي كانت تسجل قياسات حمالات الصدر للملكة، كتابا يحمل اسم « عاصفة في حمالة صدر من المقاس الرابع ».

وقالت كنتون إنه لا يوجد « شيء » في الكتاب « يثير الغضب »، مشيرة إلى أن القرار « لا يُصدق ».

وقال قصر باكنغهام إنه لا يعلق « على شركات بعينها ».

وأصدرت شركة « ريغبي آند بيلر » بيانا قالت فيه إنها تشعر « بحزن عميق » من هذا القرار، مضيفة أنها « غير قادرة على توضيح المزيد من التفاصيل بدافع الاحترام لجلالة الملكة ورابطة حاملي الامتيازات الملكية ».

وكانت كنتون، وهي من بلدة بوشي بمقاطعة هارتفوردشير، قد اشترت شركة « ريغبي آند بيلر » هي وزوجها في عام 1982 مقابل 20 ألف جنيه استرليني قبل أن تبيع حصة الأغلبية في عام 2011 مقابل 8 ملايين جنيه استرليني – رغم أنها لا تزال عضوا بمجلس الإدارة.

وبصفتها المسؤولة عن الملابس الداخلية للملكة، كانت كنتون تزور قصر باكنغهام بانتظام وتقدم خدمات لأفراد العائلة المالكة، بما في ذلك الملكة الأم والأميرة مارغريت.

وقد نشرت السيرة الذاتية لكنتون، البالغة من العمر 82 عاما، في مارس 2017 وبها تفاصيل عن زياراتها الملكية.

وقالت كنتون إن القصر أبلغها قبل ستة أشهر أنه « لم يعجب بالكتاب »، وأنها لن تحظى بالامتياز الملكي بعد الآن.

وقالت كنتون « أنا حزينة للغاية لأن قصر باكنغهام اعترض بشدة على القصة – إنها قصة لطيفة وممتعة حول ما حدث في حياتي ».

وأضافت « لم أقل سوى أنني قد ذهبت إلى هناك، ولم أتحدث عما حدث. لم أتحدث مطلقا عما أقوم به هناك معها أو مع الملكة الأم أو الأميرة مارغريت ».

وتابعت « أعتقد أنه أمر لا يصدق. إنه شيء مزعج في نهاية حياتي، لكن ما الذي يمكنني القيام به؟ لا يمكنني أن أدخل في نزاع مع قصر باكنغهام، ولا أريد القيام بذلك، لكنه أمر صعب ».

واشتغلت كنتون، التي بدأت العمل مع الملكة في أوائل الثمانينات من القرن الماضي، بصناعة الملابس الداخلية لأكثر من 60 عاما.

وتقول « كنت جديرة بالاحترام والثقة طوال حياتي. أنا لا أصدق أنهم لم يعجبوا بالكتاب، لأنه ليس به أي شيء يجعلهم يشعرون بالضيق ».

وأضافت « ربما كان من الأفضل أن أقدمه لهم، لكنني لم أكن أعتقد أنه ستكون هناك أي طلبات ».

ما هو الامتياز الملكي؟

طيلة قرون، مُنحت الامتيازات الملكية لأصحاب الأعمال والشركات، الذين يزودون بانتظام السلع أو الخدمات للقصر الملكي.

ويُمنح الامتياز الملكي إلى أشخاص بعينهم، ويعطيهم موافقة ومسؤولية عرض الشعارات الملكية المتعلقة بأعمالهم.

ولا تمنح تلك الامتيازات إلى خدمات مهنية، مثل المصرفيين أو المحامين أو لمنشورات مثل الصحف والمجلات.

كيف يُمنح الامتياز الملكي؟

تحدد الملكة الأشخاص القادرين على منح امتياز ملكي.

وحاليا هناك ثلاثة أشخاص يمتلكون هذا الحق، ويسمون بالمانحين وهم: الملكة ودوق إدنبرة وأمير ويلز.

ويمكن لشركة ما أن تتقدم بطلب إلى جمعية حاملي الامتيازات الملكية، بعد أن تكون قد زودت العائلة الملكية بسلع أو خدمات، لمدة خمس سنوات على الأقل، خلال فترة زمنية لا تتجاوز سبع سنوات.

وهناك حاليا نحو 800 جهة حائزة لامتيازات ملكية، يمثلون قطاعات متنوعة من التجارة والصناعة.

ويجري مراجعة الامتياز الملكي بشكل دوري، كل خمس سنوات، ويعتمد تجديده عموما على مدى استخدام المتجر من جانب العائلة المالكة.

من أيضا فقد الامتياز الملكي؟

سحب دوق إدنبره الامتياز الملكي من متجر هارودز في عام 2000.

وكان السبب، الذي أعلنه القصر الملكي آنذاك، هو « التراجع الكبير في العلاقة التجارية » بين الدوق والمتجر.

لكن بي بي سي علمت أن الأمير فيليب غضب بسبب مزاعم أطلقها مالك المتجر محمد الفايد، اتهم فيها الدوق بأنه وراء تدبير حادث السيارة في عام 1997 في باريس، والذي أسفر عن مقتل الأميرة ديانا أميرة ويلز، ونجل الفايد والملقب بـ »دودي ».

ويمكن إلغاء الامتياز الملكي، إذا توقف القصر عن استخدام العلامة التجارية.

كما يمكن أن تفقد الشركة الامتياز بسبب تراجع سمعتها، مثلما حدث مع شركة « هوفر » للمكانس الكهربية عام 2004، بعد بث فيلم وثائقي لبي بي سي.
